The team in the UK and Uganda would like to say a massive THANK YOU to all our donors who have given to the Covid appeal!

Overall, you have helped us to raise over £25,000 so far. This is enough to cover the salaries of 14 staff working in the community, in the essential and diverse areas of HIV, midwifery, public health, mental health and general nursing …. for FIVE whole months! The community outreach that these amazing staff will provide will bring care and medicines to those unable to access the hospital; this is anticipated to be life-saving for some patients. We really are most grateful on their behalf.

As part of her own response to the appeal, one of our Trustees, Ceri Gallivan, and her extended family took part in a variety of activities for the 2.6 Challenge. You can get a flavour of their various exploits in the video below, made to say thank you to all their supporters!
